A slightly uphill dogleg right par four opening hole invites you to play as closely to the fairway bunker on the right as you dare. The smart play is a little left, as there is more room than appears to left in the fairway.
The uphill par five ascends approximately 35 feet with a creek bordering the left side of the fairway. The smart play dictates laying up, as this smallish green is designed to be approached with a wedge third shot since bunkers are positioned front right and back left.
Catch your breath on this short downhill par four. A three wood or long iron may be the wisest play to avoid the large fairway bunker of the left. Trees protect the right side of the smallest green on property
You might be winded when you complete this long and narrow downhill par four. A large fairway bunker on the left is a nice aiming point for a slight fade from the tee. Don’t miss long left or you end up in the creek and trees that provides one of the most stunning green locations on the property.
A mid iron par three plays back uphill about 25 feet into and across the prevailing south wind. A large pond that will catch any missed shot to the right border this multi– level green with a hog back running diagonally to the right.
Another par five that plays uphill about 30 feet in elevation. This hole is directed into the customary south breeze. Miss the two fairway bunkers left and the one right and you are prepared to go for it in two. The green has sentinel bunkers front left and right and a cavernous bunker in back.
This dogleg left par four provides a nice directional fairway bunker on the right. Play a slight draw off the bunker on this downhill tee shot. Be certain to not go to far left because this leads to a blind second shot over a large Cedar Elm tree to a well bunkered green with bunkers to the front center and left. Keep the ball below the hole at all costs.
A much more severe dogleg left and longer than Hole #7, this par four follows the contour of the creek down the entire left side of the fairway. Favor the right side of the fairway as the ground slopes from right to left and the fairway bunkers on the left translate to instant bogey.
Our Signature Hole, reminiscent of the Texas Hill Country. This resplendent par three offers you eight different teeing areas from which to attack. Fronted by a large pond complete with a 20-foot rock wall and waterfall, the closing hole on the front nine may be one of the prettiest par threes in the Metroplex.
Begin the inward nine with a downhill slight dogleg right par four with out –of-bounds to the right. The fairway bunker on the left side of the fairway is a nice aiming point with a little fade. A well placed drive will set up a mid to short iron shot to a large green fronted with a greenside bunker on the left and a bunker back right.
The longest par three on the golf course plays downwind most of the time. This relatively flat hole offers a well bunkered green with a bunker protecting the front right and bunkers flanking the rear of the green to the right and left. A long and narrow green, which is slightly concave in the middle should provide for some challenging putts. The bail out here is short left.
Located at the lowest portion of the property—and possibly the most attractive area of the golf course is the par four 12th. The tee shot requires a lay up to a large pond that runs down the left middle of the fairway and then wraps in front of the green. The narrow green from back to front makes proper club selection mandatory. The front left bunker makes it that you do want to be short unless you want to try the same shot again.
The par five 12th begins as possibly the prettiest tee complex on the golf course nestled between the Clubhouse and the pond separating Hole #12 and Hole #13. A generous fairway welcomes you to drive the ball between the large fairway bunkers that frame the landing area. Precision is essential to maneuver your ball uphill and thread it through the narrow gap between the four fairway and greenside bunkers. The smart play is to lay up and wedge to a sure run at birdie.
Utilize this hole as your aiming point with the fairway bunker on the left to avoid the two bunkers on the right. The second shot on this par four will be played with a long to mid iron shot to a slightly elevated green with a large bunker located directly in front. You have room on either side to run the ball onto the green.
This par three is short but no sure thing. The tee shot is played over a large pond and no margin for error short. A large bunker in back of the green adds to the fun, but a large green and bail out area to the right make this hole a little less intimidating.
It may be wise to leave the driver in the bag on this hole. This par four is relatively short, but plays uphill some 30 feet in elevation. The best location for your tee shot is right center. Avoid the two fairway bunkers on the right. A small green is guarded by bunkers at front right and back left.
The most dramatic downhill dogleg left drop in elevation on the property provides the setting for the par four 17th. Favor the right side of the fairway to take advantage of the forward bounce and roll. The second shot will require a long or mid iron to a large elevated green with greenside bunkers left and right providing a narrow alley for a bounce up. Sloping back to front the green offers some interesting breaking putts.
The finish line is in sight. Spanning the entire length on the left, our 20–acre lake requires a forced carry on both your tee shot and your third shot. Do not go for it in two. Bunkered front left, right and behind, the green is much more approachable with a wedge than a three wood. Sloping back-to-front, the green will welcome a wedge third shot.
